Virtually no legitimate traveler will pay in advance unless requested to do so by the horse motel owner. Editor's Note: I've been asked by horse motel owners to set up a list where they can share names of travelers who are incondsiderate enough not to cancel a reservation. In lieu of that, at this time, considering the proliferation of cell phones and advnaces in tecnology, I recommend that horse motel owners take payment information from a traveler when they make a reservation and process the payment if a traveler doesn't call to cancel.
