• Announcement 1 / 1 : Summer Run Tuesday 23rd Next Tuesday the first of our Summer Runs will take place from The Swan Pub in Whalley starting between 6:30 at 6:45. The run incorporates our Treasure Hunt, apparently the ‘best one ever’! Sort yourselves in to groups of 3 to 5 and come in to the pub to see me and pick up your sheets and order your food. Groups can set off whenever they are ready. Food; Cheese and Onion Pie (V) and chips or Steak and Ale Pie and chips. Only £5 !!! (Menu price £14.99 but a group discount has meant we can have the food for £9.80 which will be further subsidised by the Club down to £5.) Chicken and Bacon hot salad for a GF option. Order food on the night with me BEFORE SETTING OFF RUNNING. Should be a very good evening. IMPORTANT - OFF ROAD SHOES ESSENTIAL. Very muddy in places. David

    We’re a friendly and welcome club established in 1985, with around 100 members. We do our very best to cater for all running abilities. The main aim of the club is the promotion of running in the Hyndburn area. There are opportunities to compete, however, this is not our main focus! Our main focus is to promote running at all paces for fitness, health, pleasure and companionship.

    We are a friendly & social running club that welcomes all levels of ability. Members range from; the casual runner to the most competitive runner. We are an established, well-organised running club with plenty of social activities and recommended races to add to your racing calendar.

    We would like to invite you to come along on a Tuesday evening at 6:30pm at Accrington Cricket Club, Thorneyholme Road BB5 5BD. Come and see if you like it initially and if you do, then the membership will be £40 for the year. This will make you part of an affiliated club plus lots more benefits!
