Our clean water program is not only saving lives but also ensuring that students never have to miss a day of school!
In response to a request from Lucian Beele of Technologies Appropriées pour le Congo, Association Sans But Lucrative (TAC Asbl), we've provided funding for a well for a primary school on the edge of Lake Tumba in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Before we stepped in, students risked their health, even their lives, by drinking untreated water directly from the lake.
"The lack of access to drinking water forces the students to consume non-drinking water without any prior treatment, which has consequences on their education, and the majority of the students are often victims of water-related diseases, which becomes an important cause of their absenteeism at school." - Lucian Beele (TAC Asbl)
Let's continue our efforts to construct wells across Sub-Saharan Africa and ensure clean water reaches those who need it most.

Thanks to our supporters, we've successfully funded water well projects that provide clean and safe water for 750 students at the Ngema Institute, 650 students at Bobwala Primary School, and an additional 1,200 individuals in nearby villages, bringing the total number served by these wells to 2,500. We couldn’t have done it without our generous donors. Let’s continue to bring clean and safe water to Africa.

God bless the donners,
Our partner in Sierra Leone, the Faith Healing Development Organization, is seeking a $25,000 grant from Bread and Water for Africa to build a mushroom laboratory. It's a win-win program - growing much needed protein foods and earning income to support a family.
