About Us

Since 1906 and over four generations our family has passed down the necessity of being responsible stewards of both land and animal. We are proud of this legacy and feel it to be the core reason that delivers to you some of the tastiest lamb on the market.

Responsible Care for Our Land and Animals
Our land is important to us and our community, hence we do not use pesticides or unnatural fertilizer. Our flock grazes on lush rangeland and alpine flower meadows from spring to fall.

When the snow flies we feed our own naturally raised hay on open fields. We feel it is important for our animals to be able to move around and enjoy a low stress environment at all times of the year. Raising the sheep on our local crop of hay provides a year round diet abundant in local nutrients and properties.

Some Lamb Tour Testimonials

Shepherds with crooks trailing 2200 sheep atop a mountain. Guardian dogs and Border Collies. A covered wagon. What images to keep with me!

Kari Phillips, Calgary, AB

Keep up the personal touch to the visitors. It's been really a pleasure!

Seegert Family, Berlin, Germany

Thanks so very much. We will make this a yearly tradition. Seeing the birth was miraculous. The baby lambs life was saved before our eyes.

Kim Beesley, Kamloops, BC

A very enjoyable time spent and appreciate the warmness and kindness of everyone.

Blue River School, Grade 5 Student

Thank-you so much. We knew it would be great and it was exceptional. Great for all ages.
