Look no further because CDBC Yahoo is recruiting! We’re hosting a “Try-It Day” on Sunday June 9th, 2024 where you can come out on to the water with us and try your hand at paddling. There you’ll get to experience the sport and get to know our friendly team camaraderie and expert coaching.
What’s not to like about making new friends, finding your passion, enjoying fantastic Calgary summers, and paddling in the same direction? (well at least we hope you paddle in the same direction!)

Calgary Dragon Boat Club Crew Yahoo
We are a team of passionate paddlers that thrive on camaraderie and continuously pushing ourselves on the water. Our club has been in existence for over 30 years and is the longest standing Dragon Boat Club in Alberta. We have two mixed teams practicing together to blend new paddlers and our seasoned paddlers. Both teams have the competitive spirit and the drive to perform our best in each festival we participate in.

Our goal is simple - Have fun, make new friends, and winning the festivals we attend.
For the 2024 season, we will be practicing weekly on Thursday nights @ 7:00pm and Sunday mornings @ 10:00am.
We are always looking for like-minded members who are either new or experienced! Dragon boating is an exhilarating, physically and mentally challenging sport - if that excites you and you are up for the challenge come join our crew!
Yahoo Angels - Women's Team
Our Women’s Team, Yahoo Angels, is made up of our ladies from both mixed crews and continually prove themselves to be in the top percentile winning trophies and medals year over year. As we near festival races our ladies may hold dedicated practices for race readiness.
