Triple-S Concrete stains react with the minerals within concrete to provide a beautiful and unique finish. Our dye-based, acrylic, and acid stains penetrate the pores of new or old concrete and chemically react with minerals to form a durable and permanent color that will not chip, peel, or flake.
You can change the appearance and color of cinder blocks with acid stains. Acid stains chemically change the cinder block to achieve its effect, while paint coats the surface. You will need to seal a stained cinder block surface to bring out its color and protect it from fading, but it will not chip or peel like paint.
