Held live on a web-based video platform from the NY Academy of Art, Continuing Studies Program.
Instructor will be present during each class
Thorough demonstrations and individual critiques will be given in each class
Multiple projects done with the instructor and additional optional home projects will guide you through how to transition from drawing into painting

Are you a beginner just trying to figure out the basics? Or have you been struggling to make beautiful oil paintings? Do you know a lot but feel like you are missing out on some important fundamental concepts? Then let me tell you about my online class Fundamentals of Oil Painting.
In this class you will learn about drawing, light, form and color.
I will give you techniques for getting the right proportion and shape.
I will show you academic lighting principles
I will demonstrate fundamental color theory and how to apply it to color mixing
I have designed five projects that will take you step by step through each of these fundamental concepts. We will start these projects in class together and I will give you an individual critique in class each night.
