The Emerald Sanctuary

The Emerald Sanctuary is a collection of literature and art from regulars on the IRC network irc.warped.net. Unlike how most people who chat on the internet are depicted, those of us on warped.net are more than two-dimensional lines of text displayed on a computer screen. We have our independent lives, our independent hobbies, and very little in our lives is made or broken based on the availability of a computer.

Most of us on warped.net are artists of some sort or another. Amongst us, we have poets, writers, sketchers, painters, composers, and musicians. Despite the common stereotype, there is a lot of talent on our IRC network. The Emerald Sanctuary is a showcase for that talent which is often overlooked.

I would like to make some acknowledgements. The Emerald Sanctuary could not be made possible without the warped.net regulars who submitted material, and I would especially like to thank buttons and Cabezon for providing the support necessary to make sure that I finished this project initially, and making sure that I stick to it.
