For Backflow Testers
Kansas City Backflow is an ASSE (American Society of Sanitary Engineering) certified school for Backflow Assembly Tester training.
Kansas City Backflow offers both certification and re-certification courses for backflow assembly testers on a regular basis with the examinations given immediately following all courses.
Kansas City classes are are held at 15090 W. 116th St., Olathe KS 66062 (Mack McClain & Associates building).
Recertification classes are offered monthly in Kansas City and in St. Peters, MO during the winter. (See the Recertification tab for current dates.) Certification courses are held regularly in Kansas City and in St. Peters, MO, in the winter. (See the Certification tab for current dates.)
ASSE is one of two organizations recognized by the State of Missouri to certify backflow testers. Those completing the course receive a Missouri Department of Natural Resources certification and an ASSE backflow tester certification which is recognized in many states throughout the nation.
Important – please read:
1. To register please pick a valid class date – one not marked “Full.” You must fill out a registration form and submit it then pay by credit card or check. We can not process your registration without a registration form.
2. If you are certified by another organization and moving to ASSE there is a $50 conversion fee that is in addition to the class fee.
3. If you are currently certified by another organization we need a copy of your tester card when you register.
4. ASSE TAKES 4-5 WEEKS TO PROVIDE SCORES AFTER THE COMPLETION OF CLASS. PLAN AHEAD! TAKE A CLASS IN ENOUGH TIME TO ALLOW AT LEAST FOUR WEEKS BEFORE YOU WOULD NEED TO BE CERTIFIED/RE-CERTIFIED.
