| The Department of Banking was created by Nebraska legislators to regulate state-chartered banks and other financial industries within the state. In 1939, regulation of state securities laws was also placed under the jurisdiction of the Department of Banking. Today, the Nebraska Department of Banking and Finance regulates and supervises various financial industries on behalf of the State of Nebraska and its residents. NOTICE: Hearing Indefinitely Postponed JHK, Inc., otherwise known as Fast Money, located at 1101 Arapahoe St., Ste. 104A, Lincoln, requested a new date for its hearing concerning the Order to Show Cause and the Order to Cease and Desist issued against it by the NDBF. The public hearing was originally scheduled for Dec. 14 at 9 a.m. and rescheduled for Jan. 9, 2006 at 9 a.m.This hearing has been indefinitely postponed pending compliance with a Consent Order entered into between the parties.
