Building Disciples

Through God’s Word and Outdoor Experiences

New England Frontier Camp exists to glorify Jesus Christ by developing disciples through God's Word and outdoor experiences.

New England Frontier Camp has been located in Southwestern Maine for over 55 years. Our camp is set in the foothills of the White Mountains alongside beautiful Kezar Lake featuring rustic cabins and lodges.

We are a non-denominational Christian ministry. Our mission calls us to glorify Jesus Christ by developing people of God who are dynamic disciples and dynamic disciple-makers.

We are building loving, solid, and Godly young people. In addition to the principles found in God’s Word, the Bible, we also highly value and encourage campers to live The Seven Points of Valor; Honor, Courage, Chivalry, Purity, Loyalty, Obedience, and Dedication.

Our programs and facility emphasize the importance of outdoor experiences. We live in a time when being “connected” can be a challenge to good development. Our programs center on building better connections with the people and world around us. Campers truly experience being “unplugged” at New England Frontier Camp. Typically our programs are separated by gender and age, to best develop youth in the areas critical to where they are in life.

Guys Explorer Camps:
Men (18+) and Boys (6–11)

Dad/Son Programs

The world can be a confusing place for a young boy today. That’s why kids need a rock solid relationship with God, and good examples of what adulthood should look like.

This is your opportunity to get away and focus on your relationship with a young man in a beautiful setting that encourages spiritual growth and great outdoor fun.

Picture yourself paddling a canoe together, riding double in a tube behind the boat, knocking down cans with BB guns at the range, or simply sitting together on a rock talking. You will do so much in these 3 days, that you will marvel at how you fit it all in. You will come away with memories that will last both of your lifetimes. On your ride home together you will notice that your relationship is stronger and deeper as a result of your time and experience together.

Our Explorer Camp Sessions run from Sunday afternoon to Wednesday morning, or Wednesday afternoon to Saturday morning, depending on which session you choose. They run simultaneously with our Boys Camp Sessions, so younger guys can participate with some of the other fun at Camp!

NE Frontier CIT Program

The CIT (Counselor-in-Training) Program is the capstone of the camping experience for young men. For decades, the CIT program at New England Frontier Camp has challenged young men physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually to refine and build their character. They are pushed and challenged in ways designed to grow their strengths and overcome their weaknesses. Our CIT's will build leadership experience into their lives that they can carry with them into manhood. The program is a six week program, consisting of two weeks of Pre-Camp training with the staff, and the first week of summer program with some intensive activies and projects. Then, during the remaining weeks of the summer camp program, CIT's are placed in limited program activities and closely observed by the senior staff. Part of this time will be in cabin, other parts will be in service roles. Part of our goal with this program is to produce young men who are capable to go on as Junior Counselors and Senior Counselors. This program does require acceptance to participate.

Family Camp

One of the best ways to end your summer!

Join us at NE Frontier Camp for an annual gathering of friends and camp family as we finish off the summer with a time of fun and fellowship!

Choose a cabin, trailer site, tent site, or skip the "camping" part of camp and stay in one of our comfortable Lodge rooms!

Campers can choose to prepare their own meals at their trailer, tent, or cabin site, or can simply sign up for the meal plan and enjoy delicious meals prepared fresh for you.

Saturday after breakfast we will have our annual swim across the lake for those who want to take up the challenge!

Saturday afternoon and evening will be a time to have fun, meet new friends, reconnect with familiar faces, and enjoy time here.

Each night will feature a campfire complete with songs, skits, and a story to provoke and encourage a closer relationship with God.

Sunday after breakfast we will gather for a worship service followed by a water baptism for those who chose to take this step in their Christian walk. The rest of Sunday you can choose from a variety of games or fun activities, or just enjoy a restful day by the lake, whatever you want!

Monday after breakfast more activities will be available through lunch time, and then after lunch we will say our goodbyes and depart for home.

Hope to See You Here!
