The North East Recorder Orchestra (NERCO) was formed in January 2004 to enable recorder players in the North East of England to rehearse and perform some of the quite large repertoire that is now available for recorder orchestras. At present it has some 30+ members and involves the full range of recorders from sopranino down to contrabass.
Meetings are normally held on the 4th Saturday in each month (no meeting in July) from 9.45am to 12.45 at our new trial venue, St Aidan’s Church. New members are always welcome. If you are interested please look at the information on the Joining page and contact our musical director Sandra Foxall before you come.
There will be a free recital after our monthly rehearsal on
Saturday, 22nd July at 11.15am, in St. Aidan’s Church,
Brunton Park
