Which Type of Therapy is Right for You?

Inpatient Rehab

This type of therapy involves a long term stay (30 days minimum) in a residential rehab center so you can focus 100% on getting yourself clean and sober. You will have access to counselors, doctors, nutritionists, and even fitness instructors, so you have all the necessary support. Learn more about Inpatient Rehab here.

Outpatient Rehab

Outpatient rehab offers access to the same support staff as an inpatient center. The main difference is that you don't spend the night there. You are free to continue living at home and even going to your job (in most cases). This type of therapy allows more scheduling flexibility, but is generally not as effective as most inpatient treatment programs. Learn more about Outpatient Rehab here.

Addiction Counseling

Addiction counseling is less structured than either inpatient or outpatient programs. It simply involves meeting with a licensed substance abuse counselor on a regular basis (the more often, the better the outcome). These counseling sessions can be one-on-one, group sessions, or even involve your spouse or other family members. Addiction counseling alone may not be effective enough for many patients.
