Who is TRAC?:
The RadioActivist Campaign (TRAC) measured and publicized artificial radioactivity around nuclear facilities, to promote site accountability and public safety.

TRAC collaborated with other public-interests on projects having shared interests. TRAC also performed radiological consulting.

TRAC was a not-for-profit corporation registered in Washington State (now dissolved).

How:
All essential resources for radiological surveys were in-house:
• radiological data bases
• integrated survey design, based on radiological
   pathways
• logistics and sampling
• sample processing
• survey-quality, wideband (10 - 3,000 keV) photon
   spectrometry
• analysis and data quality control and validation
• publications (including video and special media) and
   outreach

TRAC’s investigations were funded by grants, contracts, and donations. TRAC occasionally conducted pro bono studies.

Experience:
Norm Buske conducted radiological investigations around two dozen nuclear facilities, world-wide.
