Whether it's tumbling rocks, cutting slabs, identifying rocks, polishing cabochons, wire-wrapping, fixing or building lapidary equipment, or any other facet of the lapidary arts - we gather here as a helpful community ready to assist you as you learn and grow with us.

I’ve stumbled across some pictures of indigo gabbro and I’ll be darned if that’s not what my ‘slag’ looks like…it came from a box of slag someone collected in the UP of Michigan and google has given me the impression indigo gabbro is only found in Madagascar so…either it’s slag that looks like gabbro or possibly I had an adhd moment and I got mixed up somehow. But I still have no idea how I’d have come into possession of it if it really is gabbro. I think I had a pound of Madagascar mix from a nat geo refill pack someone gave me but that seems obscure for Nat geo material in my mind. Maybe not. Only updating this because I hate when things are wrong on the internet! Hah.

2 years?!?! Are you tumbling with cotton?
I thought 80 meant 80 cotton balls, then 220 cotton balls etc.
