Permanently !
It's true. A small daily dose of Cider Vinegar can protect you from those tiresome sore throats and runny noses that scientists have been trying to cure for centuries.
I first learned of this valuable health-aid about 25 years ago when a friend recommended that I read a small book written by an American veterinary surgeon. The common sense and logic of his argument (that the human system needs to be slightly acid in order to ward off minor ailments) appealed to me and I began taking the daily cider vinegar. My wife joined me in the experiment. Previously we had caught about 3 or 4 colds every year, each taking up to a week to pass off but in the meantime infecting others in the family. The Cider Vinegar quickly adjusted the acid/alkaline levels of our systems and colds became a thing of the past. I have been free of colds and sore throats ever since. My wife did catch just a couple of colds during that time but we still feel that the daily dose of CV was a most beneficial addition to our diet.
How much should one take?
One teaspoonful of CV in a glass of water, taken twice a day, is quite sufficient for most people. A larger dose to begin with will not do any harm. You will soon become accustomed to the taste and find that the drink is beneficial in other ways also.
· It cleans the palate, especially after oily or fatty food, and helps prevent tooth decay.
· CV contains valuable elements and vitamins beneficial to health.
· It helps to clear clogged arteries – I am now in my seventies but my GP tells me my blood pressure is equivalent to that of an 18-year old!
Alternative method of taking Cider Vinegar
Some people stir a spoonful of honey into the water and CV. This makes a very pleasant drink and adds the beneficial qualities of honey.
Where to buy Cider Vinegar
Your local supermarket will undoubtedly stock CV. A half-litre bottle will last for weeks (unless you use it for marinating meats or making tasty salad dressings).
Other sources of information
Many books have been written about the health benefits of Cider Vinegar. Check it on your preferred search engine. You'll be surprised what you may learn on some of the web-sites thus found. Many claims are made about what CV can cure but my purpose is simply to testify that it has kept me free from colds, sore throats and associated ailments for many years. And I'm very thankful for that.
Trust me! I have nothing to sell and I shall not make even a penny from this web-site. It is around 25 years since I suffered a cold or sore throat. (I could add Influenza too, but I’m not absolutely sure whether the ‘flu can be prevented by CV.) I simply want you to know what a blessing it is to be free from colds and sore throats. Just think, if you and all your relatives/fellow-employees never caught another cold, how many lost working days would be saved. Not to mention the misery of the cold symptoms, catarrh, sinus problems etc. And the money spent on CV will be saved by what you DON’T spend on those heavily advertised, expensive Hot Lemon Drinks.
Why not give CV a try? But make sure you use it every day.
