SEVIEW 7.3

Transport and Fate Modeling

Software

SEVIEW 7.3 was designed to be the ultimate modeling experience. It is the most powerful and capable version of SEVIEW ever. With enhanced versions of SESOIL and AT123D — this is modeling software without equal. From integrated model setup to graphical reports, it raises the bar for modeling. Combined with the climate, chemical, and soil databases, SEVIEW contains everything you need. The capabilities of SEVIEW 7.3 let you reimagine what is possible with analytical modeling. Advanced features allow you to perform modeling in ways you never imagined. Using SEVIEW you can complete your modeling projects faster and with unprecedented ease. SESOIL and AT123D SEVIEW 7.3 maximizes the capabilities of the SESOIL and AT123D models. Whether you are developing soil standards protective of groundwater quality, or performing groundwater modeling, SEVIEW has you covered. With SEVIEW you can run complex simulations that previously required numerical models such as MODFLOW and MT3D. Something that no other versions of SESOIL and AT123D can do. New to version 7.3: Simulate up to 999 years of contaminant load in SESOIL and AT123D Updated climate database (22,355 stations) Updated chemical database Soil database Simulation of multiple chemicals in a single run Enhanced BIOSCREEN link Our SEVIEW modeling software has been used by many state regulatory agencies to develop baseline soil cleanup objectives. To ensure adequate protection of groundwater quality their default cleanup objectives are based on the worst-case scenario. Application of such conservative cleanup concentrations may result in costly remedial actions that may not be warranted. Environmental consultants can use SEVIEW to develop site-specific soil impact to groundwater remediation standards. At most sites this will result in higher cleanup concentrations while maintaining protection of groundwater quality. At other sites it may indicate that a threat to groundwater quality exists. Three Versions of SEVIEW 7.3 Start by choosing the version that fits your needs. You have a choice between SEVIEW Basic, Basic+, or Pro. All versions include the SESOIL and AT123D models, along with the climate, chemical, and soil databases. Even the project files are compatible with all versions of SEVIEW. The only difference is the number of sources that can be simulated. By offering three versions you do not need to spend money on features you are not using. If your needs change, you can always upgrade at a later date. Basic One Source: Basic includes everything needed to simulate contaminant migration in soil and groundwater. For most modeling projects this is all you need. Use SESOIL to simulate contaminant migration in soil. Then link SESOIL to AT123D to determine groundwater concentrations. Or use AT123D on its own to perform groundwater modeling. SEVIEW 7.3 Basic meets the requirements of the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection guidance on "Using the SESOIL Transport Model to Assess the Impact to Ground Water Pathway", December, 2008. Basic+ Two Sources: Basic+ offers the next-level in capabilities. It includes everything needed to simulate contaminant migration in soil and groundwater for two sources. Use SESOIL to simulate contaminant migration in soil. Then link SESOIL to AT123D to determine groundwater concentrations. Use the second source to simulate an existing AT123D groundwater plume. This capability goes beyond other programs and is only available in SEVIEW. SEVIEW 7.3 Basic+ meets the requirements of the NJDEP guidance on "Using the Combined SESOIL/AT123D Models to Develop Site-Specific Impact to Ground Water Soil Remediation Standards for Mobile Contaminants", Version 2.1, May, 2014. Pro 15 Sources: Pro provides the capabilities to take on the most demanding projects. It pushes the boundaries of what is possible. It includes everything needed to simulate multiple contaminant releases in soil and groundwater in a single run. Mix and match up to 15 different SESOIL or AT123D sources. This feature can be used to establish on-site verses off-site contributions and to evaluate various remedial alternatives. Previously this capability only existed in numerical models such as MODFLOW and MT3D. SEVIEW Pro brings the capabilities to tackle almost any site.
