The West Lake Art Conservation Center, a newly formed 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, has acquired West Lake Conservators, a nationally recognized firm specializing in the preservation and restoration of historic and artistic works including conservation of paintings, frames, murals, paper, and photographic materials. West Lake Conservators was founded in 1975 by Susan Blakney, a Fellow of both the American (AIC) and International (IIC) Institutes for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works.
