This is the social science research center website devoted to the research of various topics including (but not limited to): poverty, children, mortality, culture, economy, mississippi delta, alcohol, tobacco, as well as many others. The ssrc uses methods such as surveys, evaluation, and media to research and disseminate its findings. The ssrc is a division of Mississippi State University and is funded through federal, state, local and private funding sources. The SSRC is also the home of the mississippi health policy research center located in Jackson, MS, which is just south of the ms delta. |
