	The mission of FinanceRank.net is to be a trusted directory of financial web sites, useful to investors, financial professionals looking to attract new business or advance their careers, and the media. To compile this resource, we rely on two types of input: Editor's picks and Contributed content. Editor's picks are based on researching the subject area, in particular extracting registered business names manually from access logs of other financial sites we own. Editor's picks seem to be the only way of covering certain investment vehicles such as hedge funds, whose ability to promote themselves is limited. In contrast, contributed links and articles can be submitted and reviewed for a fee.
