Hebron – Ma’an – This afternoon, the occupation army executed a girl on bypass road 60 north of the city of Hebron.

The General Authority for Civil Affairs informed the Ministry of Health of the death of Maimunah Abdel Hamid Harahsheh (20 years old) by occupation bullets north of Hebron.

An eyewitness said that the occupation soldiers executed a Palestinian girl on the bypass road.

He added, in his conversation with our correspondent in Hebron, that the occupation soldiers fired several bullets from zero range towards the girl, who fell to the ground covered in her blood.

He continued: I was inside a car crossing the street, and I saw the occupation soldiers pointing their rifles at the girl, who was standing still and did not move or make any suspicious movement, and then the soldiers shot her.

The occupation army claimed that the girl was carrying a knife and attempted to carry out a stabbing attack.

Amman: Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Huneiti, visited the Central Military Region Command on Wednesday.

Under the pretext of Jewish holidays – the occupation closes the Ibrahimi Mosque


Hebron – Ma’an – The occupation forces closed the Noble Mosque of the Patriarchs to Muslim worshipers, and opened it to settlers starting today, Wednesday, for two days, under the pretext of Jewish holidays.

The director of the Ibrahimi Mosque, Moataz Abu Sneineh, denounced the closure of the Ibrahimi Mosque, considering it a blatant violation of the sanctity of the Ibrahimi Mosque, and a provocative attack on the right of Muslims to access their places of worship.

The occupation forces also tightened their security measures and closed all military checkpoints and electronic gates leading to the Mosque, to secure the colonists’ celebrations of the Jewish Passover in the Mosque and its courtyards.

Eyewitnesses confirmed that the occupation forces intensified their presence at all entrances leading to the Ibrahimi Mosque, to secure the arrival of the colonists to the city of Hebron and archaeological areas under the pretext of celebrating Jewish holidays, and some markets in the Old City were also closed.

t is noteworthy that the occupation completely closes the Mosque for 10 days a year, under the pretext of Jewish holidays, and takes away the rights of Palestinian worshipers.

UAE allocates $545 million to compensate citizens over rain-damaged homes

Abu Dhabi: The UAE Cabinet has approved two billion dirhams (about $545 million) to repair the damage caused to citizens’ homes and residences as a result of the recent floods and rains.

The cabinet assigned a ministerial committee to follow up on this issue, identify housing damage, and disburse compensation in cooperation with other federal and local authorities in each emirate.

The cabinet deliberated over the outcomes and consequences of the weather conditions that the United Arab Emirates encountered in the preceding days. Over 200,000 reports were handled, involving over 17,000 personnel from security, emergency, and interior ministry agencies, 15,000 local authorities, and thousands of volunteers in addressing the aftermath of the exceptional weather conditions.

On April 16, the UAE witnessed a rainstorm that caused heavy rains at a record rate, the highest in 75 years, which affected various aspects of life and formed floods in various places.

MUSAWA demands an independent and impartial investigation into the causes of the emission of toxic gases as a result of the landfill fires in Ramallah and Al-Bireh.


Ramallah Together – The Palestinian Center for the Independence of the Legal Profession and Judiciary called on ‘Musawa’ to conduct an independent and impartial investigation into the causes of the emission of toxic gases as a result of the fires that broke out in the waste dumps in Ramallah and Al-Bireh.

In a statement, MUSAWA called for announcing the results of the investigation, holding the perpetrator(s) accountable, whoever they may be, and turning to international bodies to hold the occupying state accountable if its involvement in them is proven, in light of the two statements issued by the municipalities of Ramallah and Al-Bireh.

‘Musawa’ confirmed that this matter represents a legal, national, and moral responsibility that cannot tolerate procrastination, procrastination, delay, or contentment with official statements, especially since such crimes affect health and life and are not limited to financial losses, despite their importance, with the necessity of compensating the victims, and taking mea
sures that prevent them in the future. Without repeating this crime once and for all.

Education Minister receives Qatari Shura Council delegation, talks educational issues

Amman: Minister of Education, Azmi Mahafzah, received a Qatari Shura Council delegation on Wednesday, currently visiting Jordan, chaired by Mubarak bin Mohamed Al-Kuwari, Chairman of the Council’s Cultural Affairs and Media Committee.

The meeting, attended by the Ministry’s Secretary General for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Sahar Shakhatreh, discussed a number of issues related to the education process.

Mahafzah and Al-Kuwari lauded the deep-rooted ties between Jordan and Qatar in various fields, the foundations of which were laid by the wise leaderships of the two brotherly countries.

Mahafzah expressed keenness to continue and develop the historical relations between the two countries and raise the level of existing cooperation, especially in the education field.

He praised the great development Qatar is witnessing in various fields and the important role it plays at the political, economic, and social levels in the region, stressing Jordan’s readiness to provide expertise and qualified educati
onal cadres to contribute to the Qatari renaissance.

For his part, Al-Kuwari conveyed the greetings of the Speaker of the Qatari Shura Council, Deputy Speaker, and members of the Council, expressing his pleasure at this meeting and emphasizing the keenness to enhance the Jordanian-Qatari fraternal relationship in various fields, especially education.

He pointed out the great role of Jordanian cadres and their contribution to the Qatari renaissance, indicating that about 61,000 Jordanians work in Qatar, including 11,000 in the public sector, especially the educational and health sectors, lauding the excellence of these competencies, and expressing the desire to continue to benefit from them.

He highlighted the educational process in Qatar, both public and university education, praising the continuous development of the Jordanian educational process in its various fields, stressing the importance of exchanging visits between the two friendly countries in order to benefit from their expertise.
