The Presbyterian Food Pantry provides food to needy families in Abilene weekly from 1-4 PM. If you are interested in helping out at the Food Pantry, contact the church office and we will get you more information about this vital mission effort.
Breakfast on Beech Street is a mission effort by several churches in the downtown area that serves a hot breakfast and sack lunch to needy individuals in the Abilene community. Thursdays are FCPC’s day to help out with BOBS. This effort is hosted by First Christian Church, and we welcome all those who are interested in helping to join us in serving the community.
YOUNG ADULT STUDY GROUP Our Thursday Night group meets at the Stewarts’ house (1125 Glenwood) each Thursday at 7 pm. We’ll enjoy a short time together as we support one another in our spiritual journeys. Whether you’ve been before or it will be your first time, our group is a welcoming space for all. ABILENE GIVES Get ready for Abilene Gives on May 7th, a day of community-wide fundraising for local nonprofit organizations! Four missions near and dear to FCPC are participating and would appreciate any donations they receive during the event! Look for the Presbyterian Food Pantry, B.O.B.S., the Presybterian Medical Care Mission, and the Buffalo Gap Presbyterian Encampment when you donate at www.abilenegives.org. The site will accept donations from 8 am to 8 pm on the 7th.
