Pluralism and Our Place at the Table

As Unitarian Universalists, we hold pluralism as one of our core values. Difficult conversations are a necessary part of being in a pluralistic community of faith, and as we strive to live this value, we are called to pay attention to our covenants with one another. With the important work of our annual meeting before us, we set our minds and hearts on our covenant of engagement and our shared value of pluralism. Rev. Eileen Wiviott leads this service with Janelle Brittain as Worship Associate. The UCE Choir and the Family Choir will sing under the direction of Vickie Hellyer and accompanied by Gregory Shifrin on piano.

This week’s offering will be shared with Night Ministry, a Chicago-based organization whose mission is to provide human connection, housing support, and health care to members of our community who are unhoused or experiencing poverty.

We will host an in-person and virtual worship service Sunday at 10:30 am. Please submit your Joys and Sorrows through this online form. If you submit a message by 9 am, we will try to read it that Sunday. You can still give to the shared offering through “text to give,” mail a check to the office with “shared offering” in the memo line, or click here
