‘The Name’s Burchmore, Daryl Burchmore....’As an avid James Bond collector for over 20 years, Daryl has amassed a vast archive of movie posters, props, books, toys, -in fact anything with a 007 association! It has always been Daryl’s ambition to see his collection on public display...

‘FROM EASTBOURNE WITH LOVE’ became the first James Bond memorabilia exhibition to be based around one fan’s collection and to be authorized by MGM/UA, distributors of the famous movie series.

This popular event was staged in December 1995 at the Towner Art Gallery in Eastbourne, Daryl’s hometown. The East Sussex resort already had a previous 007 connection; in 1986 part of the opening stunt sequence of ‘The Living Daylights’ was filmed at nearby Beachy Head.

Due to the popularity of the ‘FROM EASTBOURNE WITH LOVE’ exhibition, fellow Bond enthusiast and professional film maker Mark Dawson was asked to produce a documentary of the event.

The resulting 60 minute profile has been praised by Bond fans around the globe. The late Desmond ‘Q’ Llewelyn declared it ‘An excellent documentary!’. The production features a John Barry inspired soundtrack which has recently been remixed by UK chart sensations ‘The Cuban Boys’
