The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is the largest of the Toy Group. They are easy to maintain and do not require grooming/cutting as other Spaniels do, just a bath and good brushing is all that is required to keep their coat soft and tangle free.
Cavaliers adapt well to most any situation; as their goal is to please their owners. They can be very active in an active household or they can also be very mellow couch potatoes. They are excellent with children and they also make wonderful therapy dogs.
