The congregation of Bentwood Trail Presbyterian Church is pleased to announce the selection of Reverend Karl E. Schwarz as their new solo pastor. We are filled with gratitude and love for Pastor Karl for his leadership and pastoral support over the last 2 years in his role as our interim Pastor. We have been fortunate to experience his strong faith, spirit, teaching, preaching and compassion during this time of pandemic and its many challenges. We look forward to working hand-in-hand with Pastor Karl as we continue to share the good news of God’s love in North Dallas and the surrounding community! Go to bentwoodtrail.org to learn more about Karl and his ministry.

Upcoming Events
TOP GOLF FELLOWSHIP OUTING - SEE DETAILS
Sunday, April 28th at Bentwood Trail Presbyterian Church
TOP GOLF FELLOWSHIP OUTING
If you have never tried Top Golf, now is your chance.
We are putting together an outing to Top Golf in The Colony on either Sunday, June 2nd, or Sunday, June 23rd.
We can either go from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. or 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. If you are interested, please fill in on the interest sheet which date you would prefer and which time.
We will need to make this decision on date and time by Sunday, April 28 to get our reserved time with Top Golf so be sure and let us know if you are interested.
Once we have an idea of the best date and the best time, we will do an actual sign-up sheet. To book this adventure, we will need to pay up front to secure our day and time. The approximate cost per person for two hours of play and some snacks will be $40. If you have any questions, please check with Shannon Stapp or Barb Kolle.
Mother's Day Shout Outs
Tuesday, April 30th at Bentwood Trail Presbyterian Church
MOTHER’S DAY
Mother’s Day is a wonderful time to celebrate the special women in your life and we have several ways to do so. First, we invite all to do a “shout out” to a special woman by completing this sentence:
“Thank you, __________ for . . .” and we will plan to share them as a dedication in the bulletin on Mother’s Day. They may also be shared through our social media accounts and/or they might even scroll before the service on Mother’s Day. To be included in everything, these “shout outs” need to be emailed to Barb at bkolle@bentwoodtrail.org no later than April 30th. Should you have any questions, just let Barb know.
Family Gateway - Mother's Day
Sunday, May 5th at Bentwood Trail Presbyterian Church
FAMILY GATEWAY - MOTHER’S DAY
We will once again provide an opportunity to celebrate women that have fallen on hard times by providing pamper kits to the mothers at Family Gateway. This year we have fifty-three (53) mothers to celebrate and are asking everyone to bring their items to the church no later than Sunday, May 5 for delivery to Family Gateway on Monday, May 6th.
Examples of items to provide are bath and body products such as body lotion, specialty soaps, bath salts or bombs, shower and body wash, hand and foot creams, fragrance and essential oils, or nail polish (approximately $25 per bag) – think spa day and pampering them.
Steve Jebbia will be sharing about this opportunity on Sunday, April 21 during worship and you may see him after the service to get a gift bag and a Mother’s Day card or contact the office (bkolle@bentwoodtrail.org). Thank you once again for always being such a giving congregation.
