I went back to the 'office' twice. I say 'office' because my company sold their buildings in Arizona so I permanently work from home. However we have various pop-up opportunities where we can work out of a common space. First was a hotel conference room in Tempe. Supervisors meeting with the Vice President and Senior Directors. It took 50 minutes to get there. I went early and got breakfast. Overall meeting was good. I am very fortunate that my leadership wants to listen to concerns and act on them. Second meeting was in the Biltmore area of Phoenix. This location is more central. Yet again, a 50-minute drive. This was more having a collaborative workspace. Saw team members for the first time in four years. Catered lunch. While I did not like the commute, it is always good to get out of the house and interact with colleagues.
