Deliberately Diverse & Fully Inclusive

New church hours Tuesday - Friday 9am - 2pm. Masks are optional for all activities at CPC. During worship there is a designated balcony for those wishing to wear masks and be apart from those who are unmasked. We will continue live on Facebook on Sundays.

No matter who you are or where you come from, you are welcome at Central Presbyterian Church. We strive to be deliberately diverse and fully inclusive as we serve our neighbors near and far.

Some of our local neighbors are homeless. Others are wealthy executives or influential politicians. Some of us are gay, some trans, some straight. Some are married, others single. Some are firm believers and others are struggling to believe. Though we are different, we are held together in Christ’s love.

“STOP SHOOTING” Free Concert by Un/Heard

THIS SATURDAY, May 18th at 7 p.m. in the CPC Sanctuary

Un/Heard is a tenor based choir advocating for LGBTQ+ rights. STOP SHOOTING is a concert about the effects of gun violence in our LGBTQ+ community.

Our amazing CPC Music Director, Carlos Cordero is the Founder and Artistic Director of Un/Heard. To learn more about this music program and to get your free concert ticket, click here.  You will see a button on the upper right hand corner that reads, “Donate and Tickets.” You do not need to make a donation to attend the concert.

CPC Hosts Gun Violence Awareness Installation

In May, CPC is participating in a statewide initiative focused on addressing gun violence. Vidas Robadas (Stolen Lives) is a Texas Impact project where names of gun violence victims are written on t-shirts and displayed outside churches and other institutions. Through memorializing victims of gun violence, Vidas Robadas localizes and makes visible the reality of gun violence for communities across our state.
