We are the go-to hub for all things related to co-op living.

The Co-operative Housing Federation of BC (CHF BC) is made up of member housing co-ops and associated organizations across British Columbia.

We unite, represent and serve co-ops and their members. Governing and managing co-op homes and communities can be challenging. Whatever our members need, they can count on us to be there for them.

Acquiring, creating and preserving community housing.

CHF BC has worked for a quarter century creating a better model for housing. The Community Land Trust model is a success: a growing number of co-ops, including some of BC’s largest, work with the Land Trust to deliver quality, sustainable housing focused on people of low- and moderate incomes.

We help our members put all the pieces in place for a thriving and prosperous future. Understand your buildings and assets and how you can care for them, not just now but for the long term.
