at Thunderhill & TST
(April
21, 2024) Following a rain-out of Thursday's $10,000
to win World of Outlaws CASE Construction Late Model Series showdown
at Thunderhill Raceway Park in Summertown, Tennessee, the #28
team followed the national tour to Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga,
Alabama on April 19-20 for the 'Alabama Gang 100.' Things kicked
off at TST on Friday night with a split-field preliminary program.
Dennis Erb, Jr. posted the tenth quickest lap in Group A during
the qualifying session, but was unfortunately swept up in an early
multi-car tangle during his 25-lap feature and ultimately placed
twelfth in the final rundown.
On Saturday evening with a $35,000 top prize on
the line in the 'Alabama Gang 100' finale, Dennis clicked off
the seventh fastest time in Group A during qualifying before once
again getting caught up in an incident during his heat race. The
carnage from the heat forced Dennis to utilize a provisional to
transfer into the 75-lap headliner. Before the cars hit the track
for the A-Main, inclement weather swooped into the area and pushed
the conclusion of the 'Alabama Gang 100' to Sunday, September
15. Complete results from the rain-soaked weekend can be found
