 I have worked with Equine Products, Inc. since the early 1980s. During this time I have used many of their products and found them beneficial to my horses overall health and performance. They consistently provide quality horse healthcare products. During the 1997 racing season I specifically found effective their strongest strength DMG product, Nutri-Plus, Tighten-Down Leg Paint, Nutri-Lytes and Carbo-Fuel. My horse, Val's Prince, completed a highly successful racing season with earnings exceeding $1,200,000 by winning the Hong Kong Jockey Club Cup. We were the first American trainer and horse to win this prestigious race.

 My involvement in this family business started in my early teen years; working from groom through every aspect of the horse business to company president today. It has been said that, first hand experience is your best teacher. Equine Products Inc. (EPI) was founded out of this premise in 1981 by my father, Michael Procino, an owner and breeder of Standardbred horses in the Greater New York/New Jersey area. In 1968, my brother, Jerry Procino, opened a Public Racing Stable in New York and is currently training Thoroughbreds on the Florida racing circuit. For the past five years, the United States Dressage Federation has awarded my half-Arabian gelding, Que Sera, the all breeds award in 2nd, 3rd and 4th level dressage. As a successful dressage trainer and competitor, I use many products, including, Nutri-Plus, Nutri- Lytes, Egyptian Oil, and most of the herbs and homeopathic products from Equine Products, Inc. to keep my equine athletes in top condition, increase longevity and peak performance.

Cherry-Flavored Nutri-Lytes Electrolytes) is higher relative to other ingredients than that found in most horse's sweat, and calcium is much higher than in sweat. But this may be a plus if the product is used during exercise with horses who tend to show calcium-related problems such as tying-up or thumps." "Sodium and Chloride are present in appropriate ratios but overall amounts are low because of the high-dextrose. Dextrose is higher than needed for enhanced absorption (would prefer more sodium chloride added) but this does make the product palatable. Good choice for racehorses receiving Lasix."  Catchy Tune was not eating well and stayed in the back of the stall sulking most of the day. After she lost six races in a row, I sent her to the farm for a break. When she came back to the track, she was still the same, no energy and not eating too well. Someone told me about Re-Borne so I tried it on Catchy Tune. In one month, her energy was high, she was eating and her training has improved! I entered her in a race of the same class she was beaten previously and she win and paid $37.80 to win!
