Our History

Frametek is a Australian family owned and operated business that began in 1988. Our business was founded on the concept of giving Owner Builders (even with little building experience) the help and materials they needed to build their own homes.  We removed the complexities of stick framing by supplying all wall frames and trusses pre-assembled, so the Owner Builder could stand the components knowing they were dimensionally accurate and structurally sound. It would all be impossible without a vast team of steelworking pros, senior engineers and specialists. Besides being able to service a construction project of any scale and in any niche, we are also proud of having the most up-to-date steelwork. Maintaining a strong and consistent work ethic has always been important to us, throughout the nearly 30 years we’re in business.
