Hello, I'm Jason.
I am an artist, educator, creative producer, and strategic consultant with more than 20 years’ experience helping organizations create and amplify their online presence to make a positive impact.
My work has included developing and leading design, strategy, community engagement, and content processes for the Savannah Morning News, Georgia Southern University, the Savannah College of Art and Design, Public Broadcasting Atlanta, and The Carter Center, among others.
Specializing in creative multimedia storytelling for education and non-profits, my work has won awards from the Associated Press, Newspaper Association of America, Atlanta Association of Black Journalists, and others.
I’ve worked with large and small communities and organizations locally and around the world to help create a rewarding digital presence and engaged audience. My expert skills in media, including photography, video, design, and writing combine with deep knowledge of digital tools and analysis to provide valuable insights and strategic creative direction to clients in the interest of good.

I created and led The Carter Center's Forum On Human Rights from 2016-2022. The Forum aggregated resources, hosts message boards, tells stories about human rights, and presents live online panels to amplify the voices of human rights defenders around the world.
In 2012, I made my MFA thesis exhibition on a digital billboard over Peachtree St. in Atlanta. More than 250,000 people saw my work.
The Savannah College of Art and Design asked me to be their first Social Media Manager in 2009. I created the first strategy and channels for the university and organized its first Social Media Summit to integrate the University's 32 degree programs.
In 2007, I created Art Relish to document Atlanta's visual arts scene. I spent years interviewing artists around Atlanta, compiling a calendar, creating video, and live streaming artist talks and other events.
I was Public Broadcasting Atlanta's Digital Strategist and created content for community engagement highlighting groups and individuals working for good around Atlanta. I also managed the websites of the PBS and NPR stations and helped create and present our first live online events.
During my early career, I was the Digital Content Manager for the local newspaper site in Savannah, Georgia. We covered Sept. 11, the Iraq War, and told many other important stories online. We also experimented with live streaming and online video.
