Karen and her husband Paul live in the beautiful Pacific
Northwest. Her articles, poems, and editorials have appeared in a
wide range of publications. Her book, Escape from the Fowler's
Snare, prompted a TV interview on the Trinity Brodcasting Network.
Karen was one of the winners in a Guideposts writing contest,
which took her to an all expenses paid, week-long workshop in New
York.
Her articles have brought two radio
interviews with Moody Broadcasting, and other stations nationwide.
She has taught "Writing for Publication" classes. Her writing
carries over to corresponding with prison inmates.
