Our 2024 conference was a rousing success once again, but the conference committee is already working on the 2025 conference when we’re sure to have another outstanding slate of Instructors! Next year’s offerings will be finalized late this summer and will be posted here as soon as available.

As usual, we have a terrific lineup of instructors from around the world presenting an incredible variety of kites and techniques to accommodate all skill levels and kiting interests. The classes are open to all and are filled on a first come, first served basis. A complete listing may be found on the Classes tab.
This past Ft. Worden Kitemakers Conference at the Warm Beach facility, located in Stanwood, Washington, was a great success with teachers and attendees from around the globe. The facilities continued to be comfortable and convenient, and the purpose, well, you know… we made kites, learned new techniques and methods, saw old friends and made new ones, hopefully won a raffle item or two, and had a great weekend with other kite makers and flyers. We hope you join us this coming year for more kite making during a fun, relaxed weekend.
