Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department hosted a 5K suicide awareness and prevention walk/run. Our mission was to bring law enforcement personnel, family, and friends together and raise awareness of the support and resources that are available to those who struggle with suicidal thoughts. It is important to break the stigma so that people do not suffer in silence and get the support they deserve because we are “Better together”!

We want to thank @lapdpolicechief for inspiring and supporting us in this event.
