Iran's Nightmares replies

Details of the recent limited Israeli retaliatory strike against Iranian anti-aircraft missile batteries at Isfahan are still sketchy. Nonetheless, we can draw some conclusions.Israel's small volley of missiles hit their intended targets, to the point of zeroing in on the very launchers designed to stop such incoming ordnance. The target was near the Natanz enrichment facility. That proximity was by design. Israel showed Iran it could take out the very anti-missile battery designed to thwart an attack on its nearby nuclear facility. The larger message sent to the world was that Israel could send a retaliatory barrage at Iranian nuclear sites with reasonable assurances.

Former President Donald Trump warned the “radical lunatics” who are hounding him in court to “be very careful with what they’re doing.” The embattled GOP presidential candidate called into Newsmax’s “Greg Kelly Reports” on Thursday and was reminded of his epic response in 2016 to Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton. “It’s just awfully good that someone with the temperament of Donald Trump is not in charge of the law in our country,” Clinton said during one of the debates. “Because you’d be in jail,” Trump famously snapped back. “I think you locked up the election with that moment,” Kelly told Trump.

Attorney General Merrick Garland defied a final warning Thursday to comply with a subpoena for the audio of President Joe Biden’s interview with special counsel Robert Hur. If Garland did not comply with the subpoena, he would face contempt of Congress proceedings, House Oversight Committee chair James Comer (R-KY) and Judiciary Committee chair Jim Jordan (R-OH) wrote Garland on April 17. (Photo) Biden’s Justice Department replied Thursday to Comer and Jordan by refusing to hand over the audio, citing a lack of “legitimate congressional need” for it. “If the Committees’ goal is to receive information from the Department in furtherance of your investigations, that goal has been more than met,”

Eight years ago, the leftist media took great offense to being dismissed by Donald Trump as “fake news,” but they never seemed to grasp this is exactly how they painted the conservative media, as truth-defying propaganda outlets. When the Trump trial turned to the National Enquirer, we could find national unity that the Enquirer defines “fake news.” The lefties are very excited to remind voters how the Enquirer was a Trump-allied tabloid full of garbage stories. But the liberal media spread some of them. In May 2016, the Enquirer uncorked some garbage that Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) had cheated on his wife.

Former President Donald Trump wishes to celebrate his wife Melania Trump’s birthday in Florida on Friday but is unable to spend the day with her due to his “rigged” criminal trial in Manhattan, he told reporters. Before heading into trial, Trump wished his wife a “very happy birthday” and promised to fly back to Florida on Friday evening to share as much time with her as he could. “I want to start by wishing my wife Melania a very happy birthday,” Trump said. “It’d be nice to be with her, but I’m at a courthouse for a rigged trial.”

President Joe Biden said Friday he would be willing to debate former president Donald Trump, after months of declining to say definitively whether he planned to appear onstage alongside his Republican challenger. “I am, somewhere. I don’t know when. But I’m happy to debate him,” Biden said when asked during an interview with Sirius XM radio host Howard Stern whether he is willing to debate Trump. Trump adviser Chris LaCivita responded to Biden’s comments in a post on X: “Ok let’s set it up!” Biden’s newfound willingness to debate comes after the five major TV news networks and the Associated Press reportedly sent an unprecedented letter

President Biden’s approval rating average is lower than any other president in recent history at the same point in their time in the White House, data released Friday found. The president averaged 38.7 percent job approval in his 13th quarter in office, which ran from Jan. 20 to April 19, according to averages aggregated by Gallup. In the same quarter, former President Trump had a 46.8 percent approval rating average; former President Obama’s was 45.9 percent and former President George W. Bush’s was 51 percent, according to Gallup. The second-lowest to Biden’s in that time was former President George H.W. Bush, who had a 41.8 percent mark.

The White House has introduced a special routine for when Joe Biden departs and returns to the White House on the Marine One helicopter. According to a report from Axios, advisors to the geriatric president are increasingly concerned that his inability to walk properly is highlighting his old age and declining mental condition. The outlet reports: President Biden has introduced a change to his White House departure and return routine. Instead of walking across the South Lawn to and from Marine One by himself, he’s now often surrounded by aides. With aides usually walking between Biden and journalists’ camera position outside the White House, t

An incident involving a physical attack by a female Secret Service agent tasked with protecting Vice President Kamala Harris is raising questions about whether the agency had thoroughly vetted her during her hiring and whether an ongoing push to increase the numbers of women in the service and boost overall workforce staff played a role in her selection. The Secret Service agent assigned to Vice President Kamala Harris was removed from her duties Wednesday after physically attacking the commanding agent in charge and other agents trying to subdue her, according to an agency spokesman and knowledgeable Secret Service sources.

Harvard University’s anti-Israel tent encampment was temporarily thwarted overnight — by a slew of sprinklers that flooded protesters’ tents – as demonstrations rocked other campuses across the country. Dozens of sleeping protesters who were trying to catch some shuteye were disturbed when the sprinklers suddenly turned on in the middle of the Ivy League’s Cambridge campus. “As protesters spend their first night in the Harvard Yard encampment, the biggest threat to their stay has not come from administrators or Harvard University police officers, but the Yard’s sprinklers,” the Harvard Crimson student-led paper said early Thursday.

Pope Francis told CBS News this week that climate change deniers are “stupid” even in the face of compelling evidence of a climate emergency. “Some people are stupid (necios), and stupid even if you show them research, they don’t believe it,” the pontiff told CBS Evening News anchor Norah O’Donnell when asked what he would say to the deniers of climate change. “Why? Because they don’t understand the situation, or because of their interests, but climate change exists,” the 87-year-old pope asserted. Pope Francis had never before sat down for an extensive interview, one-on-one, with a U.S. television network during the course of his 11-year pontificate.

The heist meant the Democratic congressman got stuck at a fancy dinner party in his shirt sleeves and a hiking vest while everyone else sat in suits.

I’ll preface my commentary with the obvious: All of the “mostly peaceful” protests by our “college educated” on campuses nationwide that are clearly pro-Hamas and aimed at Jewish students are wrong, illegal, and all involved should either go back to the classes their parents and taxpayers are funding or be arrested and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. But why the sudden sanctimonious outrage from the media and pundit class, billionaire donors, business leaders, and politicians? Why are the harassment and threats against Jewish students a red line that’s been crossed and now found to be totally unacceptable? It’s only because the current violence hits too close to home.

President Biden's latest proposal to hike the top capital gains tax rate to its highest level in more than a century is facing heavy criticism from experts who warn such an action could significantly harm the U.S. economy. According to a report issued by the Treasury Department, led by Secretary Janet Yellen, the president's proposed fiscal year 2025 budget would increase the top marginal rate on long-term capital gains and qualified dividends to a staggering 44.6%. A capital gains tax hike of that magnitude would take the rate to its highest level since it was first introduced in the early 1920s.

In America, under Democrat leadership, we are intentionally splintering ourselves along artificially created fault lines, whether cultural or financial. That must change if we are to survive. This claim is positively delusional. The media bends over backwards to not report negative news about Biden while demonizing Trump constantly. What this really shows is that people in the Biden camp are sensitive and scared.
DHS Has a Warning for Foreign Students

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) warned foreign students that if they are arrested for participating in anti-Israel protests occurring across college campuses they will face deportation. As anti-Israel protestors invade universities such as Columbia, law enforcement and Republican lawmakers sound the alarm as it becomes increasingly unsafe for Jewish students to be on campus. DHS can lawfully deport a person if they violate their visa terms. Most of the time when visas are revoked, it is "prudential," which means that a person isn't always necessarily immediately removed from the United States. However, it does mean that someone would be denied future re-entry into the country.

Politico has a big story up today about what it labels the "petty feud" between the White House and the NY Times. This battle of the upper crust in Washington and New York allegedly started with a simple error. A Times staffer got a quote for a story but attributed that quote a specific White House staffer. According to rules set up by the White House that shouldn't have happened. The quote was given "on background" meaning it could be generally stated to have come from an unnamed White House official but not from a named individual. The White House called the Times' Washington bureau chief, Elisabeth Bumiller,
