The University of California San Francisco (UCSF) Department of Urology Clinical and Translational Science (UCATS) group has had the privilege of doing business with ‘METROFORM Paper and Digital Document Solutions’ for the over 13 years, since 2002. Our healthcare research group coordinates several large longitudinal multi-center studies throughout the United States such as the Cancer of the Prostate Urologic Research Endeavor (CaPSURE), a diet and lifestyle study, and a number of smaller cancer survivorship studies. These studies are complicated by the numerous types and complexity of data streams such as clinical case report forms (CRF); patient-reported health related quality of life surveys; as well as administrative data such as hospital audits or vital statistics data.

Not only has METROFORM been our resale vendor for HP TELEform®, we greatly appreciate the ongoing close business relationship to strategize with Mike Cole and his team on the production of high-volume, complex patient surveys that look high quality in appearance. METROFORM technical support is critical in our successful deployment of our TELEform® software applications and how they translate into our daily business process and workflow management. While we are located in San Francisco, they are always responsive to our needs by phone or e-mail to strategize on how to best manage complex Teleforms® document design. They provide print production, collating, and mailing services to our studies. If you just want printing go to the cheapest shop in town. If you want creativity, imagination and results talk to Metroform. When we needed a unique bar coded envelope for mailing test stripes, Metroform developed it. They saw beyond the envelop, engineering one with four slots enabling us to ship four test strips in one envelop rather than one test strip per envelope. This reduced our mailing costs by 75% in addition to the reduction in the number of envelopes needed. Now we have the most user friendly, efficient delivery system for testing stripes compared to our competition.
