Preservation Fund

The Preservation Fund was created to respond to our rapidly disappearing landscape and raise funds fast. It supports the crux of our mission to preserve and restore the most treasured lands in our region.

Corridor to Coast (C2C)

North Florida Land Trust and its partners have been awarded more than $15 million by the NRCS through its Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP) to support the Corridor to Coast (C2C) initiative that extends through the Northeast and Central Florida region to the east coast and includes a “critical linkage” within the Florida Wildlife Corridor and Ecological Greenways Network, the O2O Wildlife Corridor. The C2C is approximately 5.2 million acres and covers portions of nine counties that include privately owned working lands and forests, freshwater wetlands, natural areas, pastures and public conservation lands. The C2C is an extension of the O2O partnership led by NFLT and includes public and private organizations dedicated to landscape-scale conservation.

Amelia Forever

Amelia Island residents care about a green, vibrant and resilient community. North Florida Land Trust has partnered with the City of Fernandina Beach to identify and acquire properties across the island to serve as park space and wildlife habitats, which will add to the vibrancy of the area. Find out more about how we can preserve the remaining natural resources on Amelia Island, forever.

Bogey Creek Preserve

After nearly two decades of conversations and negotiations, Bogey Creek Preserve is finally a reality. North Florida Land Trust’s first publicly accessible park, Bogey Creek Preserve is a 75-acre gem in the Pumpkin Hill neighborhood of north Jacksonville.

Brewster Nurses Gallery

Brewster was built in 1885 and was Jacksonville’s first hospital for African Americans and a training school for nurses. The gallery exhibit is curated by the Brewster Nurses and Community Alumni Association and features photographs, documents, and other memorabilia that showcase the history of Brewster Hospital.
