OROVILLE — Anna Hernandez was all smiles Saturday night as she was named 2024 Oroville May Festival queen.
OTHELLO — The county’s Special Olympics team, the Okanogan Sasquatch, have qualified for the State Games after earning gold in Othello at the Regional Tournament this past weekend.

OKANOGAN – The Bulldogs and Pioneers met at the Okanogan Valley Golf Course last week, March 20, to kick off the regular golf season – even if the match was nonconference.
The sunny day brought hundreds out to the annual Okanogan Days celebration on Saturday, June 3, hosted by the Okanogan Chamber of Commerce. The event offered a grand parade, live music, vendors, kid’s games, and more.
Paschal Sherman Indian School hosted the annual Sunflower Festival on Friday, May 26. The event featured a three-on-three basketball tournament, powwow, ‘sun run’, field games, and more.
