Parker Music Group was started by award winning solo artist Ivan Parker and his wife Teresa more than 10 years ago. At that time Southern Gospel Music booking agents shied away from solo artists as this genre of music was mainly dominated by Quartets. On the day that Ivan decided to bring all of his concert bookings "in house" the telephone began ringing and never stopped. There were more dates to work than dates available so this power couple reached out to other solo artists from the Gaither Homecoming Tour and thus was born the agency as it is today.
Teresa Parker's goal for every telephone call and email is to make the contact feel at ease and as if you have known her for years. "The first impression any church, organization or promoter has with any artist that I represent is myself. That impression is extremely important as are the days that follow in all conversations. My desire is to be a friend an ally to both potential dates and to my artists. God has blessed me with a gift, my ARTISTS, and I treasure that gift. I take care of each one as I do my husband and each contact I have made needs to feel just as special. That is my goal EVERYDAY with God's infinite Grace."
