Mission Statement

We link individuals and organizations to strengthen our mutual efforts.

We engage in community education to understand the root causes of militarism and injustice in order to address them more effectively.

We provide resources for progressive movement building by supporting and collaborating with emerging and existing groups.

We act on issues not being addressed by other local organizations.

We work to amplify diverse voices in our community.

Steering Committee

Peace & Justice Center is governed by a Steering Committee which has a maximum of 12 members. The Steering Committee meets the third Thursday of each month at 5:30PM via Zoom. In September 2019, the Steering Committee welcomed four new members who represent youth & people from diverse communities. This action is congruent with our mission and stated goal of striving to center our leadership with persons who represent communities most impacted by unjust structures.
