“Death is but crossing the world, as friends do the seas;
they live in one another still.”

— from More Fruits of Solitude by William Penn

The Veil is Thin.

It’s a mere veil between us in the physical and our loved ones in spirit. We block ourselves from sensing it, in favour of only that which is tangible.

The essence that animates our body is a vibrant energy that always was and always will be. The astonishing truth is that our essence retains a personality that we bring to each and any incarnation we choose. This means that the qualities that attribute who we are in this life, will be present in the afterlife. Just as we have choices of behaviour here, we have choices of expression there.

“He who has gone, so we but cherish his memory, abides with us,
more potent, nay, more present, than the living man.”

— Antoine de Saint-Exupery
