Our Beliefs
The walk to Emmaus is an experience of Christian spiritual renewal and formation that begins with a three-day short course in Christianity. It is an opportunity to meet Jesus Christ in a new way as God’s grace and love is revealed to you through other believers.
The objective of Emmaus is to inspire, challenge, and equip the local church members for Christian action in their homes, churches, communities and places of work. Emmaus lifts up a way for our grace-filled lives to be lived and shared with others.
How You Can Get Involved
Serve on Team
Are you a recent or past pilgrim looking to serve our Lord? Being on team is just as much fun and exciting as experiencing the walk for the first time. There are many ways in which you can serve.
Become a Sponsor
Besides prayer, sponsors are one of the most important parts of an Emmaus weekend. Learn how to become a sponsor and share this experience with someone else in your life.
Join the Board
Serving on the the Board of Directors is a rewarding way to work beyond your local church, with other Christians. Pray for God’s direction in your involvement in the Quad Cities Emmaus Community .

What People Say
The Walk to Emmaus helped me better understand how much God loves me, and the depth of his sacrifice to bring me into his eternal salvation and dwelling place with Him.
Pat Thornton, Walk #95
Emmaus means feeling God’s arms around me with His grace and love. This community really embodies the phrase, “being the hands and feet of Jesus.”
