Dear Dog Owner,
My love for animals started at a young age. I thought of becoming a veterinarian, a professional horse back rider or an animal rescuer. I moved to the United States in 1984 and worked in different jobs until settling in as a personal assistant with a preference for working with clients that had dogs.
In 2009, while I was volunteering at the San Francisco Animal Care and Control and at the GADAB (Give a Dog a Bone) project, I realized that I was ready to become a full time professional dog walker. This was what I really loved to do. I got all the necessary certifications, license and insurance and started my company, SF Walk With Me, which provides dog walking and pet sitting services in the city of San Francisco.
I take my dogs to walk in Golden Gate National Recreational areas (GGRNA). A walker must have a special permit for such a privelage and only walk six dog max. My favorite areas are the Mountain Lake Trail in the Presidio, Chrissy Field beach and Baker beach.
My company is small and I want to keep it this way. I always get attached to the dogs I take care. We are a big family.
