I’m a Memphis-based artist working with real & artificial intelligence and I enjoy experimenting with a variety of materials and tools. I received my MFA in Fibers in 2001. Eventually I began working with metal and had a small solo exhibition at the National Ornamental Metal Museum in 2011.

I have been exploring AI imagery for more than a year. Working from text to image is taking on the role of art director, it feels different and it’s very fun. I have mixed feelings about the future of AI, which only makes it more interesting. As for visual art, it’s merely a tool. Unfortunately, it’s a tool that is not always used ethically or creatively.
