Bow Tie

A short necktie fashioned into a bowknot close to the throat.

  1. Place the tie under the Collar so that one end is slightly longer than the other.After that cross the long end over the other.
  2. Loop the longer end through the center in front of the collar.
  3. Create a horizontal loop with the short end of tie as shown in the picture
  4. Drop the long end over the horizontal loop,pull the bow ends forward,press them together,and form an opening behind
  5. Push the middle part of tie gently through the opening created in step 4.Do not let the tie pass all the way .
  6. Pull the loop ends to tighten the bow and adjust to the desired shape

 

Four In hand

Four in Handknot is best suited for a standard button-down shirt and works best with wide neckties made from heavy fabrics.This knot is a narrow, discreet and slightly asymmetrical tie knot

  1. Place the tie under the Collar so that wide end is slightly longer than the other.After that cross the wide end over the narrow one.
  2. Loop the wider end under the narrow end and pull to the right
  3. Loop the wider end over the narrow end and towards left
  4. Take the wider end up through the back
  5. Hold the front of the knot loose between the fingers,pass the wide end of the tie through the loop from top towards the bottom
  6. Tighten the knot and adjust for shape

 

Half Windsor

Also known as the single Windsor knot,is a way of tying a necktie which produces a neat, triangular knot. It is larger than the four-in-hand knot but smaller than the Windsor knot.

  1. Place the tie under the Collar so that wide end is slightly longer than the other.After that cross the wide end over the narrow one.
  2. Loop the wider end under the narrow end and pull to the right
  3. Take the wide end up
  4. Loop wide end through the middle
  5. Then loop it around to the front
  6. Bring the wide end up through the back
  7. Hold the front of the knot loose between the fingers,pass the wide end of the tie through the loop from top towards the bottom
  8. Now tighten the knot and adjust for shape

 


Windsor

The Windsor knot, compared to other methods, produces a wide symmetrical triangular knot knot is especially suited for a spread or cutaway collar that can properly accommodate a larger knot.

  1. Place the tie under the Collar so that wide end is slightly longer than the other.After that cross the wide end over the narrow one.
  2. Loop the wider end under the narrow end and pull up through the middle
  3. Bring the wide end towards the left
  4. Pull the wide end behind the narrow end from left to right
  5. pull the wide end of the tie up
  6. Drop the wide end down through the middle back to front
  7. Loop the wider end over in front towards the left
  8. Then bring it up though the back
  9. Hold the front of the knot loose between the fingers,pass the wide end of the tie through the loop from top towards the bottom. Now tighten the knot and adjust for shape
