The heart of the Waldorf method is the conviction that education is an art – it must speak to the child’s experience. To educate the whole child, their heart and will must be reached as well as their mind.
— Rudolf Steiner

    — Parent

  • "The best part of the Waldorf School is the way the teachers teach children how to learn, not just to memorize facts. They teach how to view things from all angles, which stays with your child in all senses."

    — Parent

  • "We absolutely love the freedom our son has at Waldorf Saratoga Springs to be curious, explore, and let his imagination run wild. He is building valuable skills and values that wouldn't normally happen in a public Pre-K setting."

    — Parent

  • "I absolutely LOVED being able to go to school here! The teachers care about their students, the families form such a bond with each other and the curriculum is so hands on the material taught is truly learned not merely memorized! I can't wait for my own child to start!"

Our beloved Waldorf School begins the 2023-2024 school year in a different, yet exciting new way! This year a focus on Early Childhood through 8th Grade allows us to expand our core education curriculum, and apply additional resources to art, music and movement programs. These important programs enrich school life by providing new learning opportunities for our students, both academically and socially.

As we strive to meet the needs of the present, it is equally imperative that we take action to ensure our school’s long-term sustainability and success. Community support, in combination with the work of our talented educators and administrative team, creates and nurtures the vitality and inspirational spaces that are central to our school’s history and vision.
