The Waterloo Fire Department is located in the City of Waterloo Wisconsin, approximately 25 miles east of Madison in rural Jefferson County. The Waterloo Fire Department provides Fire Protection and Emergency Medical Service to the City of Waterloo, as well as the townships of Waterloo, Portland, Milford, and Shields. We also have mutual aid agreements with all of our surrounding communities.

Currently the Waterloo Fire Department is staffed by two full-time employees who are trained to Firefighter II and AEMT amongst other certifications. The full-time staff provide support to the approximately 50 other volunteer/paid on call members who are trained to various levels to provide quality fire protection and emergency medical service to the community.
