Through sculpture, painting and collage, Elizabeth Knowles explores biological patterns integrating the mind, body and spirit. She received her MFA from The School of the Art institute of Chicago. She has been the recipient of numerous grants, residencies and awards including the E. D. Foundation, Artist's Space, the Ludwig Vogelstein Foundation, the Corporation of Yaddo, The Millay colony, The Banff Centre and the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts. She currently lives and works in New York City |
